Primers And Sealers

Automotive paint sealers and primers serve different purposes in the painting process:

• Sealer: Acts as a barrier that seals everything underneath and above it, ensuring a smooth surface for paint application.
• Primer: A urethane (2K) Or (1K) product, it fills and builds layers that can be sanded down, providing a solid foundation for the paint.
• Primer-Sealer: A 2K filler primer can be mixed with a reducer to function as both a primer and sealer, preventing issues like glaze putty bleeding through.
